Strategic Buyer indirect Commodities (m/f/d)

In this position, you will play a pivotal role in the transformation process of our procurement function. With your knowledge and passion for procurement, you will work with a dedicated team to further develop the area.

Your Responsibilities:

• Monitoring developments on the international procurement market, conducting market analyses and identifying methods and tools to optimizes indirect sourcing
• Implementation of sourcing methods to automate indirect related spend
• Independently establishing and maintaining long-term partnerships with suppliers, whilst managing a competitive supplier base
• Negotiating contracts and conditions with suppliers
• Developing criteria for monitoring supplier performance and carrying out regular performance checks
• Acting as a competent interface to internal partners

Your Qualification:

• Business education (HTL/Uni/FH)
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position (preferably in a production company)
• Outstanding experience and skills in stakeholder management under demanding circumstances
• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex procurement challenges
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
