Senior Medical Systems Engineer (f/m/x)

A job where you can make a difference:

• Participation in the development of a medical system used for ion beam therapy in accordance to ISO 13485.
• Supporting the specification, purchasing and installation phases of patient positioning and position verification systems.
• Supporting the design of the nozzle of an ion beam therapy system.

Skills that make you our strength:

• Academic studies (Masters degree or PhD) in medical engineering, physics, mechanical engineering or similar
• Experience in working with quality standards (e.g. ISO 13485)
• Project Management Skills is desirable
• Experience with patient positioning systems and radiation therapy workflows is desirable
• Work experience in medical device development is an advantage
• A strong interest in particle therapy and treatment planning and ideally experience in these areas is an advantage
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication in English language
• Willingness to travel in Austria and abroad

For the advertised position we offer a minium gross annual salary from EUR 46,781 (on a full-time basis) based on the classification in use group 4 of the collective agreement for white-collar workers in the metal industry, with the possibility of overpayment, depending on professional qualifications and experience.
