Your responsibilities

Do you enjoy working with people and want a job that's anything but boring? Our on campus café/pub is looking for a friendly, motivated team member to help us serve up great vibes and even better drinks, from Monday to Friday in two shifts. You'll be part of the international Campus Services team at ISTA, which deals with all services for the employees on-site - from guest rooms to kindergarten, shuttle buses, events, sports facilities, and of course, our café/pub.

• Prepare coffee and other drinks, small food items and snacks like a pro - or become one with our training!
• Keep the service area running smoothly - preparation, stock up, stay organized, and ensure hygiene standards are met
• Take care of our patrons - create a welcoming atmosphere, handle requests with diligence, and stay calm when things get busy
• Be responsible at the register and during closing, manage stock and place orders as needed
• Bring your ideas to the table - help shape our menu, support seasonal campaigns, and pitch in at events

Your profile

• Experience in hospitality / service industry is a plus - but not required. If you're new, we'll train you on the job!
• Good English skills (English is our working language); basic German is a plus
• Service-minded, proactive attitude combined with a friendly and open personality
• Ability to act as a reliable team player
• Availability for two shifts switching bi-weekly from 8.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.; flexibility for ad-hoc changes
